Hi, Reader,

How were the lung techniques last week? If you gave them a try, hit "reply" and let me know how you enjoyed them.

Nourish (TOWARD)

This week on social media, I am sharing teasers of the techniques for the small intestines. Because the small intestines absorb nutrients from our food, stickiness affecting these organs can have a large negative impact on overall health.

One of the first stories I heard about organ massage was of a patient who was experiencing fatigue with low vitamin B levels that required significant supplementation. The therapist who shared this story with me said that once she was able to massage this patient's small intestines, his nutrient absorption improved and he no longer required vitamin B supplements.

Working with my own small intestines was also what showed me how drastically organ massage can change digestion and improve health.

You can find these teaser techniques on instagram and TikTok.

Reduce (AWAY)

This week, I am gently nudging myself away from my numbing behaviors and asking instead if I have the capacity to feel whatever it is that I'm trying to escape.

The truth is that I don't always have the capacity.

On a podcast I was listening to earlier this week, the host said that she wished that we had rituals to help us feel our feelings, and I couldn't agree more.

Because organ massage can provoke emotional release, it's important to have a plan for how to handle those big feelings. I suggest:

1. Access resources: Make sure you have someone to talk to: a friend, counselor, therapist, etc.
2. Cultivate safety: Slow down, take deep breaths, and be gentle with yourself
3. Let yourself feel: Try not to numb or run away from the feelings that are coming up. Instead, make time to feel them.
4. Give yourself what you need
