Hi, Reader,

Spring is truly beautiful here in Ohio. My beds are sprouting cute little green things, the trees are growing leaves, and the grass is getting lush. Unfortunately, this also means that my allergies are ramping up.

This time of year, I try to commit doubly to my high fiber dietary protocol, to help my liver avoid getting behind on clearing everything: allergens and hormones.

If I don't, not only are my allergies terrible, all of my symptoms flare.

How are you doing during this time of year?

What We Are Nourishing This Week:

The stomach moves a lot to perform its functions. It’s also affected by the movement of the diaphragm, which is right above the stomach.

Sometimes, the stomach gets in the wrong position, sliding upwards and causing the sphincter that keeps acid from coming back into the esophagus, to not function properly. This can lead to acid reflux or GERD.

In some cases, massaging the stomach can be incredibly helpful, allowing the stomach to return to its normal position.
