Nourish (TOWARD)

As the days lengthen and the weather warms, I find my energy levels naturally start to rise.

But my energy levels did not always do that. I went through many years of brutal fatigue.

Pain will do that - drain all the energy. But, there are other aspects of endo that can do it too. For example, if there is stickiness affecting the lungs limiting breath capacity, or at the liver affecting metabolism or sleep, or at the small intestines affecting nutrient absorption.

Below, I'm sharing with you my Fatigue Formula, the three techniques I've seen have the greatest impact on fatigue in myself and my clients:

The Fatigue Formula:

  1. Massage the pleura of the lungs (instagram/TikTok)
  2. Massage the liver (instagram/TikTok)
  3. Massage the jejunum and ileum (instagram/TikTok)

Reduce (AWAY)

Did daylight savings time throw your routine into chaos?

I can't lie, the earlier half of this week was a huge struggle in my household. No one wanted to get up and everyone was cranky.

But then, Wednesday night, we gently moved everyone towards bed at a much earlier hour of 7pm to help all of our bodies start to calm, and miraculously, the kids were asleep by 8:30pm and grown-ups were asleep by 9:30pm. We all woke up Thursday with renewed energy and much better moods.

It was a great reminder that sleep is primary, so this week, I am moving away from any pull to stay up past my bedtime.
